Casita has had a great start to their new school year!  There are some specific needs that we would like to meet this year. We are looking for people who would like to sponsor classrooms. We are wanting to put diffusers in each classroom. Diffusers help with attention, reduce stress, and help with germs.  Additionally, we are wanting to give each teacher a copy of Jesus Calling in Spanish so that teachers can read it to their class each day.  You can sponsor a classroom for $40 each. There are currently 9 classrooms at Casita.  You can sponsor classrooms  here . You can click "wherever most needed" and write classrooms in the comment box. 

Our Teachers In Guatemala Are Amazing! We are so thankful for the team of teachers, administrators, and staff that God has provided in Guatemala. This team gives so much of themselves and we appreciate them. Our goal in 2018 is to pay them more because they are so deserving.  Tuition at Casita Adonai is covered by child sponsors and parents and is kept low so that families in this difficult community can send their children to a safe, loving school. The problem with tuition being so low is that the school is not able to pay the teachers the national minimum salary. We want to help change that! Caroline's Promise has committed to raise funds so that the teachers can make what they deserve. Our goal is to provide supplemental funds for a year while Casita increases their enrollment.  That's where you come in! We are looking for monthly sponsors who can give any amount towards this need. The application deadline for all 2018 Missions Trips has been extended! All applications need to be in by January 31st.   While there are openings on all teams, there is a great need for Doctors & Nurses who are interested in working with adults and kids.  Here are the following trips:  June 15-23: Fine Arts Boot Camp - Teaching the arts to teens to use as an outreach June 23-30: Leadership & Business Training - Church leadership team building & vision casting, business training. There is a need for children's ministry workers.  June 29-July 7: Sports & Medical - Sports camp & adult medical team.  July 7-15: Teacher & Parent Training - Teacher & parent training. There is a need for children's ministry workers.  July 7-15: Men's Team - Focus will be on discipleship and leadership training with exposure to various trades such as carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.  July 20-28: Wilson Community Church - This trip is

Thank you for giving to our Building of Promise project.  As you know, this is the third and final floor of a building that benefits the school, church, and community.  The third floor will provide 3 additional classrooms, restrooms, an area for chickens, and and area for horticulture/urban gardening projects.   In addition, there will be a sport court - soccer field on this floor.  We are beyond excited about the doors for ministry that will be opened when this project is complete. Many of you gave to our #GivingTuesday Campaign and we want you to see how your investment is being used.  Completion of the third floor involves 3 stages and the first should be complete by the end of January.  We had to dig deep on the first floor so that columns could be created that will support the weight of the soccer field on the third floor.  In these photos you can see those columns being installed on the first and second floors.  Stairs have also been installed going from the second to third flo
