Send a Kid to Camp!

This summer we are excited to focus our summer ministry on the Youth Leadership Team and all that they do in Guatemala.  These young adults are amazing!  They have a full year of ministry planned for the youth of our partner church, Adonai.  In addition they help with our weekly services in the community of Gerona.

When we asked them how they would like us to help this summer their first response was

"Can you please have a camp for the middle schoolers?"

Our response - "OF COURSE!!!!"

The theme of the camp is "Removing the mask" and will focus on the masks that we wear with God, our friends, our family, and our church.

Our goals are:

*  That these kids will know how much Jesus loves them and choose to live for him!
*  Healing for emotional and spiritual wounds
*  Healing of relationships with parents.  The parents will be invited for a special service
*  Connected with the youth leadership team of Adonai so that these 100 kids will want to
come to the youth services and grow!  Pray specifically that our graduates of Casita who do not
attend another church will get connected
*  Breaking of chains of depression, poverty, and gang activity

The cost for each kid to go to camp is $50 and we need your help!

You can donate at this link

And don't forget to pray the first week of July!

Mission team member's "idea" + Facebook Fundraiser = Jobs in San Nicolas

Our last team to Guatemala was in November of 2019.  That seems impossible but it's true.   The primary focus of the team was a pediatric medical clinic that was hugely successful.  However, that wasn't the only seed that was planted that week in the community of San Nicolas.   Wanda King has been going to Guatemala with Caroline's Promise for years.  We can always count on her to bring hand sanitizer, goodie bags that she and her sister make for everyone, and lots of love!  One of the things I love most about Wanda is that she is willing to step in and do anything that is asked of her.  A few weeks before this trip she asked if she could bring a set of hair cutting supplies.  I didn't know if there was a need, but I knew that Wanda felt strongly that she should bring them and so I said "of course!"  Little did we know the impact that one idea would make.   Wanda spent most of that week teaching our partner, Monica how to cut hair.  We quickly realized that
