There are several upcoming opprtunities to support Caroline's Promise! On December 5th, Caroline's Promise will be at the Holiday Market at BB&T that is hosted by the RMA Triad Chapter of Women in Business. Time: 11am-2:30pm Place: 7701 Airport Center Drive, Greensboro On December 10th there will be a Christmas Open House at the Holbrook's house. There will be desserts, hot drinks, and lots of beautiful fair trade gifts. This is a great way to get some Christmas shopping done while supporting our friends in Guatemala! Today is the day! When the Building of Promise was first planned we knew that it would have 3 floors.  The vision that God gave us clearly showed 3 levels and it was confirmed over and over when random people in Guatemala who didn't know about the project, told us of their dreams of a 3 story building that God would use to draw the community to Him.  You helped us build the first and second floors which have provided large classrooms, a beautiful library, offices,and a computer lab.  The church and school use this space daily.  Originally we thought that the third floor would be used to offer middle school grades, but after a lot of research, we have determined that the cost involved is not the best use of the resources God has given. I will admit, after several years of envisioning middle school grades in this space, I was a little confused when it became clear that this was not God's plan.  As a team, we began to look at this inner city community and our eyes were open...

And....to encourage people to give a generous donor is matching any donation made between 8 and 8:30am Tuesday, up to $2500.  How can you help? Thank you to everyone who sponsored a teen for youth camp in Guatemala. Our middle schoolers recently returned from their camp. The theme of this year's camp was, "The Misuse of Time and Technology". This year's camp included middle schoolers from Adonai Church and the community of Gerona. We love how the sister churches are working together. We are so proud of our youth and young adults at Adonai Church who are rising up and leading the next generation. Many of these leaders were in our child sponsorship program. It has been amazing to see how child sponsorship impacts and molds the leaders at Adonai. The youth at Adonai Church also did fundraisers to pay for their way to camp. The only money Caroline's Promise needed to raise was for the teens in Gerona. Because of this, more teens in Gerona were able to attend.   In Guatemala when something tastes delicious we say "Que Rico!" Once again our friends at Hold Fast Coffee have created a special blend from Guatemala just for Caroline's Promise.  We are thankful for their partnership and investment in the work that God is doing in Guatemala.   All proceeds from the sell of this coffee will go to the completion of the Building of Promise in Guatemala City.
