February and March Prayer Needs

Please Pray With Us
We are praying Isaiah 61 over ourselves and
our friends in Guatemala.  Take a few minutes and read through this Chapter. Feel free to print this list and pray with us throughout the months of February and March

  • Grief and Trauma Team (February 23-26)  - Pray for the health, safety, and wisdom of this team as they minister to the family of Erik and Samuel and our partners in Guatemala. We are asking God to continue the healing that He has started, and to give this team a supernatural amount of strength and courage as they grieve with our friends in Guatemala.

  • Teacher Salary Needs - We have committed to send additional financial and support in 2018 to help Casita Adonai pay their teachers what they deserve. We are currently short $1,000 a month with this need. Pray with us for monthly donors and groups who will host fundraisers and fair trade parties.

  • 2018 Mission Teams - Pray for our leaders and teams as they raise support and prepare for summer trips. Pray for our partners in Guatemala as they assist in preparing for our teams.

  • Teachers, Students, and Administration at Casita Adonai - We are asking God for an outpouring of His Spirit at Casita Adonai this year. We want everyone to be drawn closer to God and experience His love for them. Pray for wisdom as our administration promotes the school. Pray for protection daily and for our families who don't know the Lord to come to know Him. Each class is going to receive a copy of Jesus Calling for Kids. Pray that God will use this little book in big ways!

  • Florencer - is the artisan branch of Caroline's Promise. Pray for our stateside leader, Ruth, and our Guatemalan leader, Evelyn. Pray for unity among the artisans, creative ideas, and wisdom to know how to best help these women create products that will help them support their families.

  • Gerona Property - Our partners have identified a piece of property in the community of Gerona that could be used for a ministry center. Pray for wisdom as we negotiate and raise funds. $30,000 is needed to purchase the land. We need God's wisdom to know if this is the right property.

  • Building of Promise - Pray for financial support for the completion of the third and final floor of this building.

Where are they now? Sthefany

Hello, my name is Sthefany.   I am 16 years old and am currently in the 4th year of high school in Biological Sciences.  First of all I want to thank the Groves Family who sponsored me during my primary school period because thanks to them I was able to complete primary school.  I am also very grateful because although I did not meet my sponsors, I appreciated them very much for the support and help they contributed in my life.   It was a great blessing that Caroline's Promise can contribute great things in the life of a person.  The experience I had was totally great. I got to know places thanks to them and they also showed me their love through letters (letters that I still have), gifts and financial aid. I would really like to meet and know how my sponsors are and meet them in person and thank them personally.   And well, I think that these kinds of experiences make you grow as a person in all aspects and how wonderful that those kinds of people exist, s...

Mission team member's "idea" + Facebook Fundraiser = Jobs in San Nicolas

Our last team to Guatemala was in November of 2019.  That seems impossible but it's true.   The primary focus of the team was a pediatric medical clinic that was hugely successful.  However, that wasn't the only seed that was planted that week in the community of San Nicolas.   Wanda King has been going to Guatemala with Caroline's Promise for years.  We can always count on her to bring hand sanitizer, goodie bags that she and her sister make for everyone, and lots of love!  One of the things I love most about Wanda is that she is willing to step in and do anything that is asked of her.  A few weeks before this trip she asked if she could bring a set of hair cutting supplies.  I didn't know if there was a need, but I knew that Wanda felt strongly that she should bring them and so I said "of course!"  Little did we know the impact that one idea would make.   Wanda spent most of that week teaching our partner, Monica how to cut...
