Amen."  Ephesians 3:20-21 Four years ago I led a small team of women to Guatemala the week after Christmas.  Our goal was to love on our friends and encourage them.  We had no idea that God was up to something much bigger.  Delmi introduced us to a family of 6 kids who had recently moved to the community and were attending the church.  I could tell that she was drawn to these kids and I'll never forget the day we visited them.  While on the roof of their home I said to Keila,  "Wow!  This view is amazing.  Do you guys come up here to play?"   She replied, "We don't get much time to play." We have the incredible opportunity to partner with Yobel International and offer Entrepreneurial Training to our mamas in Guatemala.  This week long training will empower them to develop small businesses that will help them provide for their families.  The cost for each woman to attend is $250 and we are looking for sponsors of any amount.   Just in time for Christmas, if you donate at least $50 toward this project in honor of a loved one, we will provide you with a beautiful Christmas card to send to them.   Any donation is greatly appreciated! The first week in November, a team of about ten people, coming from four different states, assisted Iglesia Adonai in their yearly vacation bible school. Three of us, though we have been to Guatemala before, were new to VBS at Iglesia. And the rest of the team, save one person, was new to Caroline's Promise, but has helped with VBS for many years. However, God brought all of us together very quickly! Throughout the week, we had a very busy schedule...but the good kind of busy. The kind where you don't realize how exhausted you are until the end of the week, because you're so caught up in how much you love what you're doing. One of our team members shared a verse with us one morning at breakfast that perfectly served as a theme for us the rest of the week :  "The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and young men stumble and fall...

It's never too early to start making plans for a 2016 mission team!  We are excited to announce these trips.  Let us know if you have questions or if you would like us to help you plan a trip for your church or group. Business Training Team - led by Lisa Holbrook & Stephanie DiMora Spring 2016 date to be announced soon!  Contact us if interested We are looking for a small team of men and women who are interested in leading our  Business Training for women in Guatemala City.  Team members need to be  comfortable leading small groups of women. We will provide the curriculum. Cost:  $1000 plus airfare. Application and $100 deposit due by January 5, 2015.
