Calling all Guatemala Adoptive Families

I remember the first Christmas that our daughter, Caroline celebrated with us.  We became a family on December 1, 2003 when her adoption from Guatemala was final.  That Christmas was extra special to say the least!  If you're like me you often wonder what life would have been like for your child if they had remained in Guatemala.  Even more, you probably wonder what your life would be like had you not been united with them! This Christmas we are offering a very special way for you to honor your child while helping kids in Guatemala who struggle daily.  Caroline's Promise is in the midst of constructing a 3 story school in Guatemala City.  Casita Adonai is home to 165 of the most vulnerable children in the area.  They not only receive a quality Christian education, but they receive food, safety, and lots of love!  Their parents are also assisted through  parent education and job skills training.  Hope is truly being reclaimed for kids and their families in Guatemala! We need your help in January

Just think of it........leaving the cold, dreary, weather of January at home and hopping on a plane to warm, sunny, Guatemala.  Let's do it!  Our partners in Guatemala have asked us to send a team January 11 - 19, 2015.  They will be doing last minute work on the first floor of the new building so that they can accept the students on the first day of their new school year - January 20th!  There will lots of painting, light construction, and setting up of classrooms to be done.  And we need your help! We've reduced the cost of this trip to make it possible for people to join us.  $700 plus airfare (currently around $720) will cover everything you need! Contact us right away if you are interested! There will be a dedication of the first floor on Sunday, January 18.  If you would like to attend but cannot go for the entire week we are offering a different option.  Saturday, January 17 - Monday, January 19.  Cost will be $200 plus airfare.
