Caroline's Promise News

Caroline's Promise is in the process of changing our donor management system.  All donors, including teacher & child sponsors, should be receiving an email from our administrative assistant, Chelsee, within the next few days.  The email you receive will instruct you how to set up your new account and recurring gift.  This is an exciting transition, because the new system will allow you to see your giving information at any time. Look what you're helping us do in Guatemala! It's time to update you on the work being done on the Building of Promise. The original space on the first floor has been remodeled. Huge columns were installed in each classroom in an effort to support the third floor soccer/ sport court. All of the classrooms were enlarged and received new flooring. The hallway going out the back of the first floor will look very different to those of you who have visited. It no longer is open, because the second floor meeting room was expanded to accommodate the soccer court.  First floor hallway with classrooms to the right The large meeting room on the second floor was expanded, new windows are being installed on the right side of the room, and this area will receive new flooring. Our Teachers In Guatemala Are Amazing! We are so thankful for the team of teachers, administrators, and staff that God has provided in Guatemala. This team gives so much of themselves and we appreciate them. Our goal in 2018 is to pay them more because they are so deserving.  Tuition at Casita Adonai is covered by child sponsors and parents and is kept low so that families in this difficult community can send their children to a safe, loving school. The problem with tuition being so low is that the school is not able to pay the teachers the national minimum salary. We want to help change that! Caroline's Promise has committed to raise funds so that the teachers can make what they deserve. Our goal is to provide supplemental funds for a year while Casita increases their enrollment.  That's where you come in! We are looking for monthly sponsors who can give any amount towards this need.
