Where are they now? Cesy Samayoa

Cesy, translating for Kaitlyn Our friend Cesy was too old to be in our child sponsorship program when we met her, but she definitely benefited from the program because two of her siblings were sponsored consistently.  And we benefited from knowing Cesy!  For years she would translate for our special programs.  I remember speaking to a group of moms years ago and Cesy translated for me.  She stayed for hours after the talk to help me minister to women.  One of those women had concerns about her son who clearly showed signs of ADHD.  Cesy helped me find natural ways to address his inattention and lack of focus and a year later that same Mom shared how Cesy's suggestions had helped! Cesy, we know how hard you have worked and we are incredibly proud of you!  Thank you for being a beautiful example to young women everywhere!

Where are they now? Ingrid Marisol

Dave & Abby Propst of Wilson, N.C. have sponsored Ingrid Marisol for years.  When we asked them how child sponsorship has impacted their family, they said  "Sponsorship to our family has meant being able to grow a solid relationship with children in a country we fell in love with.  And in turn the children we fell in love with get to learn about the Jesus we love!  Sponsorship is a full circle Jesus moment."   Ingrid Marisol sent a message to Dave & Abby through our Guatemalan team in December.  Ingrid Marisol December 2021 "I am thankful for the help from my sponsors.  I graduated high school this year and will continue my studies at the University in 2022.  I want to study English!"   We are so proud of Ingrid Marisol and thankful for the Propst family and their years of investing in her! Where are they now? Sthefany

Hello, my name is Sthefany.   I am 16 years old and am currently in the 4th year of high school in Biological Sciences.  First of all I want to thank the Groves Family who sponsored me during my primary school period because thanks to them I was able to complete primary school.  I am also very grateful because although I did not meet my sponsors, I appreciated them very much for the support and help they contributed in my life.   It was a great blessing that Caroline's Promise can contribute great things in the life of a person.  The experience I had was totally great. I got to know places thanks to them and they also showed me their love through letters (letters that I still have), gifts and financial aid. I would really like to meet and know how my sponsors are and meet them in person and thank them personally.   And well, I think that these kinds of experiences make you grow as a person in all aspects and how wonderful that those kinds of people exist, s...

Where are they now? Jeremy

Hello my name is Jeremy.   I want to tell you about the experience I had being sponsored in my elementary school studying at the evangelical school Casita Adonai.  I started studying more or less when I was 3 years old and I received sponsorship at the age of 8.  I was in second grade when the Pinon family sponsored me.  I want to send them greetings and thanks because thanks to them and Caroline's Promise I was able to finish my schooling.   I must emphasize that every year they sent me gifts, which I appreciate even more since it was not enough for them to support me at school but they sent me gifts and that is saying a lot.  It was a blessing and a great support for my family and for myself, in addition there were many more people that I also remember with great affection.   I am currently 18 years and thanks to all those efforts is that I can say that I graduated from a bachelor's degree in computing with a scientific orientation and at this p...

Where are they now? Eleazar

Hello, let me introduce myself.  I am Eleazar and I am 13 years old.  Since I was 4 years old I started studying at Casita Adonai, since I was approximately 5 years old.  I received sponsorship from people I did not know, for me it was very emotional to receive that help, and affection with samples of gifts.  When I was in 4th grade I received a visit from Abigail Juchs.  Her family and she sponsored me for several years.  That day I was able to meet her it was very nice to share a moment with her.  I feel very grateful to her God and Lisa that through Carolina's Promise they gave me the opportunity to be sponsored, and so I could finish my primary school. I hope I get to see Abigal again one day.

Where are they now? The Morales Family

During our December Child Sponsorship Campaign we have had the joy of highlighting young adults who were in our child sponsorship program as children. It's so encouraging to see how their sponsor's love, prayers and financial support helped them get to where they are today. We think you will be encouraged as well! The Trivette & Morales Families  All 3 of the Morales children attended our partner school in Guatemala. We loved watching them grow and enjoyed getting to know their parents. Our teams remember the kids as sweet and well behaved. One of the benefits of sponsoring through Caroline's Promise is the opportunity to meet the child that you invest in. Sara Patricia, Luis, and Daniel all had the same sponsors for years and that consistency really made an impact......in all involved. The Trivette family from Colfax were able to visit Sara Patricia several times, including the day that she graduated from elementary. Tripp, Buffy & Hunter with the Morales K...

Where are they now? Adam

During our December Child Sponsorship Campaign we have had the joy of highlighting young adults who were in our child sponsorship program as children. It's so encouraging to see how their sponsor's love, prayers and financial support helped them get to where they are today. We think you will be encouraged as well! Most of our teams remember Adam as a "wild child" when he was little and attended Casita Adonai School. He was always on the go and a little mischievous. We stay in touch with Adam's mom who we grew to love during our trips to Guatemala. Adam is now 17 and has finished high school. He fondly remembers receiving art supplies from his sponsors, Dan & Patti and of course he remembers meeting Dan when he traveled to Guatemala with a team from Wendover Hills Wesleyan. Adam with Dan Adam has asked us to pray for wisdom as he studies for his college entrance exams. He hopes to attend University in 2022. Thanks Dan & Patti for all the ways y...

Where are they Now? The Diaz Boys

This month we are highlighting young adults who were in our child sponsorship program as children. It's so encouraging to see how their sponsor's love, prayers and financial support helped them get to where they are today. We think you will be encouraged as well! We caught up with the Diaz boys who were in our child sponsorship program when they attended Casita Adonai School. Their mom, Evelyn was able to participate in our sewing program and later in our business training. The boys were sponsored by families from one of our partner churches, Wilson Community Church . One of the highlights of the partnership was when WCC took teams to Guatemala and these families were able to meet the kids that they sponsored. Through the years we grew to love Evelyn and her boys and prayed with her often that the boys' father would join them in church. Her prayers were answered, they were married in a local church and the entire family is involved in ministry today! Because of the i...

Where are they now? Linda's Story

This month we will be highlighting young adults who were in our child sponsorship program as children. It's so encouraging to see how their sponsor's love, prayers and financial support helped them get to where they are today. We think you will be encouraged as well! Our first story is from Linda who was sponsored for years by Greg & Aida who live in Florida. Linda is a vital part of our team in Guatemala, always willing to help in any way that she can! My name is Linda and I am 20 years old. I have lived my whole life in Guatemala City and since I was in my mother's womb I have attended a church. I had the opportunity for Caroline’s Promise to come to my church and start a sponsorship program. I was blessed to be sponsored by Aida for much of my childhood until I was 18 years old. When the sponsorship program began, my father went in search of the American dream, but the money he sent was simply not enough to support a family of 6 and sometimes there were season...
