Florecer Event

Florecer, of Caroline's Promise, will have its #ethicalfashion items for sale at Sweet Talk Bakery 5002 High Point Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407 on Saturday April, 28 from 11am-1pm.  Cash and cards accepted. Desert and coffee will also be available for purchase.  You will find handmade items from Florecer's partners in Guatemala as well as other ethically made items from artisans in developing countries around the world.  Proceeds benefit the ministries of Caroline's Promise and of course, every artisan that made a product. Do you know where your jewelry and your clothes are made? Do you know who makes them? Do you know under what conditions they work? Are they paid a fair wage? By supporting Caroline's Promise through the purchase of our products you are helping us spread the love of Jesus to families in Guatemala in addition to transforming cycles of poverty around the world.

Make a Difference for Mothers in Guatemala this Mother's Day

If you're looking for a great Mother's Day gift for your Mom, wife, or friend - we can help you out! Caroline's Promise has a heart to prevent children from becoming orphans.  It's because of this goal that we have developed several programs that equip mothers to provide for their children so that they don't have to face the unthinkable choice of abandoning them. In 2012, with the help of our friends and donors,  we were able to establish a Sewing Ministry in Guatemala City.  You can read about it here.  These ladies make and sell their product with a portion going into a savings account and a portion going to construction of the new building at the school & church.  We LOVE that they are more than willing to give to this project!  Caroline's Promise finds sponsors in the US who give $100 and combined with the money in their savings account, we are able to provide them with a brand new sewing machine, supplies, and a Women's Devotional Bible. ...

Creative Ways To Make A Difference

This past September 60 women went to the beach for a time of relaxation, fellowship and learning. While there, they also made a difference to people they will probably never see in this life time. Fair trade items were featured at their retreat, making over $500 for our ministry. They also collected school supplies for our school in Guatemala, Casita Adonai. This is just another way to master the moments for eternity....not only were the women blessed, but became a blessing to others.... What opportunitites are you surrounded by, that could turn into a miracle for someone else?
