Child and Teacher Sponsor Letters and Gifts are due May 1st!  This is the only time of the year when you can send a gift to the child or teacher that you sponsor. Our teams are limited with space, but you can send a letter and gift that fits inside a gallon sized zip lock bag. You do not have to send a gift, but please send a letter.  This blog post  will give you ideas for gifts and what to write.  For security reasons, please do not tape the bag shut. We inspect every gift and read every letter to make sure that they are appropriate. In addition, your letter will be translated. Please write your child/teacher's name on the outside of the bag, and put your first and last name. The kids LOVE getting letters from their sponsors.  I can't tell you how important this communication is and the impact it makes in their lives.  Please, please, please take the time to write a letter.   If you need suggestions on what to write, check out this blog post with ideas. Our teams normally deliver your gifts but due to rising costs of checked baggage, we will be shipping sponsor gifts this year.  If your items are not in our office by the May 15 deadline, we will more than likely not be able to deliver it.   Please keep gifts to items that will fit into a gallon sized zip lock bag (and close:) This will be your last opportunity in 2017 to send a gift to your sponsored child.  Letters will be accepted in October.
