Did you know that you can support Caroline's Promise on your birthday? Sydney created a video explaining how you can support Caroline's Promise on your birthday.  We want to thank Sydney for taking the time to make this wonderful video! You can set up your Facebook Birthday Fundraiser  here . Please Pray With Us   We are praying  Isaiah 61  over ourselves and  our friends in Guatemala.  Take a few minutes and read through this Chapter. Feel free to print this list and pray with us throughout the months of February and March Grief and Trauma Team (February 23-26)   - Pray for the health, safety, and wisdom of this team as they minister to the family of Erik and Samuel and our partners in Guatemala. We are asking God to continue the healing that He has started, and to give this team a supernatural amount of strength and courage as they grieve with our friends in Guatemala. Teacher Salary Needs - We have committed to send additional financial and support in 2018 to help Casita Adonai pay their teachers what they deserve. We are currently short $1,000 a month with this need. We are so proud of our youth and young adults at our partner church, Iglesia Adonai! We have several baptism to celebrate from this past week. We have loved watching them grow in their relationship with Jesus, and we are excited to watch them continue to grow.  God is using them in many ways to reach their community and church. Casita has had a great start to their new school year!  There are some specific needs that we would like to meet this year. We are looking for people who would like to sponsor classrooms. We are wanting to put diffusers in each classroom. Diffusers help with attention, reduce stress, and help with germs.  Additionally, we are wanting to give each teacher a copy of Jesus Calling in Spanish so that teachers can read it to their class each day.  You can sponsor a classroom for $40 each. There are currently 9 classrooms at Casita.  You can sponsor classrooms  here . You can click "wherever most needed" and write classrooms in the comment box. 

Our Teachers In Guatemala Are Amazing! We are so thankful for the team of teachers, administrators, and staff that God has provided in Guatemala. This team gives so much of themselves and we appreciate them. Our goal in 2018 is to pay them more because they are so deserving.  Tuition at Casita Adonai is covered by child sponsors and parents and is kept low so that families in this difficult community can send their children to a safe, loving school. The problem with tuition being so low is that the school is not able to pay the teachers the national minimum salary. We want to help change that! Caroline's Promise has committed to raise funds so that the teachers can make what they deserve. Our goal is to provide supplemental funds for a year while Casita increases their enrollment.  That's where you come in! We are looking for monthly sponsors who can give any amount towards this need. The application deadline for all 2018 Missions Trips has been extended! All applications need to be in by January 31st.   While there are openings on all teams, there is a great need for Doctors & Nurses who are interested in working with adults and kids.  Here are the following trips:  June 15-23: Fine Arts Boot Camp - Teaching the arts to teens to use as an outreach June 23-30: Leadership & Business Training - Church leadership team building & vision casting, business training. There is a need for children's ministry workers.  June 29-July 7: Sports & Medical - Sports camp & adult medical team.  July 7-15: Teacher & Parent Training - Teacher & parent training. Thank you for giving to our Building of Promise project.  As you know, this is the third and final floor of a building that benefits the school, church, and community.  The third floor will provide 3 additional classrooms, restrooms, an area for chickens, and and area for horticulture/urban gardening projects.   In addition, there will be a sport court - soccer field on this floor.  We are beyond excited about the doors for ministry that will be opened when this project is complete.
